The Yacht Club Community Pool will reopen on Wednesday, June 5 following a resurfacing project that began in February.

The pool features a new slip-resistant deck area, newly resurfaced main and kiddie pools, new tile, and new handrails. In the next few weeks, new diving boards will be installed and bathroom renovations will be completed. There will be portable bathrooms and hand washing stations available for public use until these renovations are finished.  

The improvements to the pool area cost about $256,000. Community pools are typically resurfaced every 10 years and the last resurfacing at the Yacht Club Community Pool was in 2004.
