Eagle Skate Park to Remain Closed Until March 11 for Ramp Painting and Inspection

Eagle Skate Park will remain closed until Wednesday, March 11 for the ramps to be painted, adjusted and inspected by American Ramp Company.

While the park was expected to reopen on March 6, the project has been delayed, which will require the park to remain closed until work is fully completed. The bike contest that was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on March 6 has been rescheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 13.

The Skate Pro Shop and Eagle’s Nest Café will remain open weekday hours only during the project. The Skate Park is expected to reopen at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11.

Eagle Skate Park is located at 315 SW 2nd Avenue, adjacent to the William Austen Youth Center, and is one of the largest skate facilities from Miami to Tampa featuring nearly 27,000 square feet of ramps, rails, street obstacles and a bowl.
