Construction Continues at Giuffrida Park

Contractors are scheduled to begin work on February 8 outside of the existing public facilities at the park.

However, starting on Monday, February 28, the entire park will be closed to the public for roughly six (6) months when construction begins on the main portions of the park.

The improvements of Giuffrida Park, located at 1044 NE 4th Street, are funded by the Parks GO Bond. Improvements include the addition of walking pathways, stormwater ponds, overflow parking, and pickleball courts.  The improvements are in addition to the new shade cover for the playground and new play structures that were added in the fall.

While Giuffrida Park is closed, the public is encouraged to visit other local neighborhood parks with playgrounds including Paul Sanborn Park (2310 SE 3rd St) and Saratoga Lake Park (170 SE 4th Ter).
