Following its Mid-Cape Summer Fest, Mercola Market & Café donates $4,000 to the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.
The all-day inaugural event, which benefitted the local animal shelter, attracted over 1,000 people to celebrate the end of summer with live music, a vintage car show, food trucks, a corn hole tournament, face painting, a petting zoo, hot air balloon rides and more.
“The goal of this first-time event was to introduce our Market to the community and bring families together to enjoy the last weekend before the new school year starts,” says Patrick Rossi, Mercola Market of Cape Coral General Manager.
“Donating the event proceeds was the icing on top, and we’re happy to support the Cape Coral Animal Shelter in their mission of providing a safe place for animals until they find they’re forever home.”
The Mercola Market & Café of Cape Coral is a new retail store that exclusively features Dr. Mercola branded products for your health, home, pantry and pet. In addition, the Café offers a complete selection of biodynamic coffee and espresso beverages, hot and iced teas, and a variety of baked goods from a local bakery, including gluten-free and vegan options.
The Market & Café is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
