UPDATE: City of Cape Coral Temporarily Closes Customer Service Counters to Limit the Spread of COVID-19

All customer service counters and lobbies will be closed to the general public in City of Cape Coral buildings beginning Monday, March 23.  Appointments will be required.

Building permits will continue to be issued to licensed contractors and individuals, by appointment or online. Water bill payments can be made online or via telephone. Customers also can leave payments in a dropbox, which is located outside the main entrance of City Hall.

Employees will be using social distancing, as recommended by the CDC, and the City encourages the public to make use of online services via the City’s website. Please check the City’s dedicated COVID-19 web page (www.capecoral.net/COVID-19) for announcements and details about these temporary changes.

Note that a Special Meeting of the Cape Coral City Council is scheduled for Monday, March 23 at 4:25 p.m. Meetings are broadcast on Cape TV (Comcast Channel 98 and CenturyLink Prism Channel 94) and streamed online at www.cape-tv.com. Rather than attend in-person, the public can participate virtually by submitting an e-comment via the “Agendas & Minutes” quick link on the City’s website.
