City Hall Fountain Lit with Blue Lights for Autism Awareness

The water fountain at Cape Coral’s City Hall is illuminated with blue lights for the month of April to show support for National Autism Awareness Month.

“I’m so proud that the City of Cape Coral is participating in Light It Up Blue to show our support and acceptance of people living with autism,” said District 7 Councilmember Jessica Cosden.

“We can all participate in spreading awareness, understanding and acceptance of our 1 in 59 family members, friends and neighbors who live with autism. Wear blue this month to show your support and share your pictures on social media.”

Joined by the international community, hundreds of thousands of landmarks, buildings, homes and communities around the world, are lit blue in recognition of people living with autism as a way to increase understanding and acceptance and foster worldwide support.

The water fountain, which is located at the main entrance to City Hall will be lit blue through the end of the month.
