The Kiwanis Club of Harney Point, The Kiwanis Club of Cape Coral and Cape Coral Parks & Recreation will present the 20th annual Harney Point Kiwanis KidsFest on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The festival will be held on the grounds of Sun Splash Family Waterpark located at 400 Santa Barbara Blvd in Cape Coral. The event is sponsored by the Gunterberg Charitable Foundation and the Culliton family.
KidsFest will feature entertainment throughout the day as well as Halloween costume contests with prizes. Attractions will include games and inflatable rides. The festival will also offer health and safety information, family-oriented vendors, give-away items, crafts and food.
There will also be a 2K obstacle course run for kids. Children ages eight to twelve will start at 8:00 a.m., and children four to seven will start after the first group finishes. Each participant will receive a 20th KidsFest 2K Celebration shirt, breakfast snack, water and a power drink. The run registration is $20.
Admission to KidsFest is free, and parking is available in the park for a suggested donation of $2. Canned food donations are encouraged, and will be collected for the Cape Coral Caring Center.
