VEHICLE-1: 2008 white Hyundai Sonata, Florida tag# IE57SW.
DRIVER-1: Douglas Gordon Adsit, W/M, DOB: 6-28-95, of 564 Gnu Drive, North Fort Myers, FL
Vehicle 1 was traveling North on Del Prado Boulevard and passed several witnesses at a high rate of speed (approximately 80-85 mph) as it drove through the intersection of Kismet Parkway. As all witnesses were rounding a left curve in the roadway near the entrance to Entrada gated community, they located Vehicle 1 stopped across both North lanes, but facing toward the median blocking the roadway.

Vehicle 1 continued where the passenger side of the vehicle struck (side-swipe) a tree. Vehicle 1 then impacted a metal guard rail placed to prevent vehicles from traveling into a brushy area. Vehicle 1 was redirected down the guard rail and back across Del Prado Boulevard to final rest.
The driver was located inside of the vehicle unresponsive by the witnesses with an obvious serious head injury. The driver of Vehicle 1 was trauma alerted to a local hospital by ambulance due to life-threatening injuries. The driver of Vehicle 1 is listed in critical, life-threatening condition. Medical blood alcohol results show that the driver of Vehicle 1 had a medical Blood Alcohol Level of 0.191.
