Motor City-style square slices are available now at the Detroit Pizza Joint, which recently took over the Chicago Beef, Dogs & Pizza space at 3812 Skyline Blvd.

Owner Todd Stern plans a capital investment in new pizza ovens to eventually enable his pizzeria to bake whole square pies.

Next summer, Mellow Mushroom, a stone-baked pizza chain, is coming to Cape Coral. They plan to open a third Lee County location at Gator Mike’s Family Fun Park on Pine Island Road.
