Scarecrows in the Park – Halloween Express – Pumpkin Patch
Scarecrows in the Park – Enjoy a walk through the Children’s Garden to see this year’s scarecrows with the theme of “Book Characters.” Visitors can vote on their favorite for the duration of the event. For more information and how to submit a scarecrow into the competition, please visit www.lakespark.org. Hours: M-W 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Th-S 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Halloween Express – Come ride the train to and see all our spooky Halloween decorations. Train Museum hours vary and free to visit. Tickets are $6 per person ages 6 and above, and $2 per child ages 1-5. Hours: M-F 10 a.m.-2 p.m. & 6-9 p.m., S-S 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Pumpkin Patch – Pumpkin sales, hayrides, concessions, and more! Prices vary – Hayrides & concessions on weekends only. Hours: M-F 6-9 p.m., S-S 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Parking fees are required 7 Days a week. Park open-6 p.m. $1 per hour or $5 per day. 6-9 p.m. $3 per vehicle

Barktober Fest
Come out Friday from 6 – 8 pm for the Annual Barktober Fest event at Gulf Coast Town Center. Bring the family and your fur-babies. Whether you decide to stay and decorate a pumpkin or grab your free “to go” pumpkin and decorating kit (while supplies last), be sure to enter your pumpkin in the pumpkin decorating contest. Live entertainment, games, stilt walkers, vendors, pet costume contest and more! Free Ice Cream Social & Celebration for Pups!
To officially launch our newly redesigned splash pad, Collier County Domestic Animal Services and Pampered Pet Resorts together are throwing a combination launch party and ice cream social. On Saturday, from 11 am to 1 pm, this FREE event is open to everyone! And our splash pad will be open for dogs to play free! Free ice cream treats for our two-legged friends are provided by Royal Scoop. Free doggie treat bags for our 4-legged friends, Collier County Domestic Animal Services will be here with some adorable, adoptable canines. Our Splash Pad Pup will also be available for fun & photo ops.

Movie & Party in the Park
Come out Saturday night to Wa-Ke Hatchee Park and Recreation Center from 5 – 9 p.m for their Movie & Party in the Park. The feature will be the Halloween movie “Hocus Pocus“, as well as a costume contest, scarecrow competition, food trucks, and more. The costume contest begins at 6 p.m. Movie begins at 7 p.m. Bring your own seating and join us for the fun!
