Island Hopper Songwriter Fest

This weekend, the seventh annual Island Hopper Songwriter Fest kicks off in the tropical setting of Captiva Island. Nearly 80 singer-songwriters from around the country will perform more than 100 shows. Join us for free shows, open-air island venues, and intimate performances. Find out the schedule of who is playing at which locations on Sanibel by clicking here. Performances all weekend long, starting Friday night and happening Saturday and Sunday, too! While most of the festival performances are free, a few exclusive ticketed shows are available on the official festival app under the schedule tab.

Movie on the Mound

Raya and the Last Dragon will be screened outdoors Friday night starting at 8 pm at The Mound House. This Movie on the Mound is FREE and families are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and bug spray. Refreshments will be available for purchase with proceeds to benefit the Friends of the Mound House. Sponsored by Twilight Features, this event is part of the Fort Myers Beach International Film Festival

The River District comes alive on the third Friday of the month, from 6 – 10 pm, as local and regional musicians line the streets for Music Walk. From jazz and blues to rock & roll, many genres can be heard and vary each month. Free to the public with many venues featuring additional attractions and specials. FREE to attend!

Make creativity part of your family routine the 3rd Saturday of each month during Family Art Lab! Drop in at Alliance for the Arts for FREE, hands-on family fun from 10 am to 12 noon. Explore something new every month like art making, gallery activities, games and more – all inspired by artworks on view in the gallery, famous artists, national holidays and artistic traditions around the world. Come ready to imagine and create! After the fun, peruse local produce and products at our GreenMarket. Recommended for ages five and older, but all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.

23rd Annual Punta Gorda Sullivan Street Craft Festival
