Naples Seafood & Music Festival

Come out and enjoy the premiere of the 3-day Naples Seafood & Music Festival at the Naples Italian American Club. Festivities begin Friday evening 4 – 10 pm and continue Saturday 11 am – 10 pm and Sunday 11 am – 6 pmGeneral admission is FREE. Enjoy foods cooked fresh onsite (seafood, meat, vegetarian) with a variety of side dishes and of course – desserts! Seafood is from Florida’s coastal waters, a sustainable and renewable resource. For drinks, choose from alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks. While eating, listen to the captivating sounds of live musical performances on stage by some of Florida’s and the region’s top musical talents. During breaks between performances, shop a diverse marketplace of arts, crafts, select food items and specialty products. relax, Kick back and partake of great music and food!

32nd Annual Fishing Derby

The Kiwanis Club of Cape Coral is proud to present their annual Free Fishing Derby for boys and girls ages 5-15 at the Cape Coral Yacht Club pier. No advance registration is necessary, but the derby is limited to the first 300 kids. Just come to the pier and check in. All participants will receive their own rod, reel and bait, all for FREE. Trophies will be awarded to the boy and girl with the biggest fish, smallest fish, most fish and the one with the most unusual catch. A variety of door prizes will be given away at the end of the event. You must be present to win. Younger participants must be accompanied by an adult. This annual event is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club in hopes of getting more children involved in fishing, a hobby that lasts a lifetime.

Water Safety Day

Collier County Parks and Rec will be providing a FREE, fun and creative way to learn how to be SAFE around all bodies of water. Guests of all ages will be visiting the different Safety Stations to celebrate International Water Safety Day! Come out to Eagle Lakes Community Park on Saturday from 10 am – 12 pm for all the fun. EMS will be there to demonstrate proper CPR for both parents and children. Don’t forget to bring your cameras, because the famous Stewie, the duck, will be there! The United States Coast Guard will also be there to talk and show us about U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejackets.

Southwest Florida WingFest & Craft Beer Festival

The aroma of freshly cooked chicken wings will fill the air on Saturday from 3 – 8 pm! That’s when the Annual Southwest Florida WingFest & Craft Beer Festival comes to City Marketplace in downtown Punta Gorda. Up to 20 Chicken Wing Teams will set up their Wing booths in an effort to persuade the judges and the general public that their Wings are King! And what goes better with Wings than an ice cold beer? At the festival, thirsty attendees will have an opportunity to sample different beers from small breweries not always readily available in our area. The Beer Tasting Tent will now feature over 50 different craft beers from Micro-Breweries around the country to satisfy your thirst. Specialty beers will be available by samples or by the bottle. Live music as well. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 at the gate, Kids under 12 are free with Adult. Tickets required for Wings, Craft Beer, all domestic beer, liquor and other food. Nautical Expo

Come out to the Lee Civic Center both Saturday and Sunday for the annual Nautical Expo, a 2-day event. Admission is $12 to attend, under 18 free.
