Vehicle-1 was traveling southbound in the outside travel lane of Skyline Boulevard in the 4500-block. Pedestrian-1 was prone on the roadway, in the outside southbound travel lane of Skyline Boulevard in the 4500-block, where the front of Vehicle-1 struck Pedestrian-1.
Pedestrian-1 came to final rest in the southbound outside travel lane of Skyline Boulevard, approximately 65 feet from the area of impact. Vehicle-1 made a controlled stop and came to rest on the southbound outside shoulder of Skyline Boulevard, approximately 170 feet from the area of impact.
Pedestrian 1 was trauma alerted to Lee Memorial Hospital, where he later died as a result of injuries sustained in the traffic crash.
