As we enter the fourth week of August, we encourage you to continue to consume zero or very few sugar-sweetened drinks. This 5210 Pledge goal is to drink more water!
Thank you for participating in Healthy Lee’s 5210 Pledgethis summer! As this month comes to an end, take the time to reflect on your 5210 journey with your family and create a plan of action for the school year that will include all four promises.
Don’t forget to encourage your family and friends to take the pledge! It’s not too late to commit to healthy habits and Healthy Lee will show you how to make it a part of your lifestyle!
Eating for Hydration
It is important to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day, but what if we told you that you didn’t have to drink all of that water? It is possible to quench your thirst with these 15 fruits and vegetables that are at least 90% water by weight.
This month, the 5210 program was included in the Healthy Living section of Florida Weekly. During this month, families have pledged to avoid drinking sugar-sweetened drinks and focus on drinking more water, and following the conclusion, families are encouraged to continue their healthy lifestyle changes throughout the year.
Show off your healthy habits and help others stay motivated by sharing photos of your experience using #5210Pledge.
