The Cape Coral Animal Shelter (CCAS) will be holding a Rock’N’ Rescue fundraising event Saturday, November 3rd from 6 to 10 pm at the Cape Coral Yacht Club ballroom.
The event will be a fundraiser and a kickoff for the community to purchase engraved pavers for placement at the shelter. A message can be added to the pavers commemorating a pet, family member, or to recognize a business.
Pavers are available for a special price until November 3rd. Four-inch by eight-inch pavers are discounted from $150 to $125 and larger eight-by-eight-inch bricks from $250 to $225. CCAS is working with LARC, Inc., a local organization supporting individuals with disabilities, who will be making the engraved pavers.
Cape Coral restaurants Nevermind Bar and Eatery, with Ceno’s Grille will be providing dinner and Metro Diner is donating the dessert. The Riverside Band will be playing throughout the evening. A silent auction will be held the evening of the event and “Rock’N’ Rescue” T-shirts will be for sale. Tickets for the event are $100 per person or $700 for a table of eight.
