On October 14, 2018, around 11:20 PM, Cape Coral Police responded to the report of a traffic crash.

It was reported that the vehicle left the roadway and struck two unmarked Cape Coral Police Department vehicles that were properly parked in a driveway. The vehicle additionally struck two mailboxes and ultimately came to rest in another resident’s front yard. The driver of the vehicle was Maria Magdalena Quinones (W/F, DOB: 12/28/1962) of 2112 SW 15th Place. 

Upon contact with Quinones, she had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about her person and showed signs of impairment. A DUI Investigation was initiated and Quinones performed poorly during field evaluations. She was subsequently arrested for DUI. Quinones submitted to a breath test (BAC 0.154 / 0.160). Two Cape Coral Police Department vehicles sustained damage, one had extensive damage.

CHARGES: 5-counts of DUI with Property Damage and DUI with a BAC over .15.
