Vehicle 1 was traveling east at the 200-block of SE 10th Terrace at a high rate of speed. As the driver attempted to get back onto the roadway, it crossed SE 10th Terrace diagonally and its rear end rotated clockwise. Vehicle 1 left the roadway to the left, struck a mailbox at 241 SE 10th Terrace and continued to slide sideways to the southeast through the lawn of that residence. Vehicle 1 rolled to its left, rolling across the driveways and lawns of 3 additional residences. Vehicle 1 then struck the rear of an unoccupied Chevy Cruz parked on the driveway of 307 SE 10th Terrace. Vehicle 1 continued to the southeast, collided with the mailbox at that residence and came to final rest on its right side on the front lawn. The driver of Vehicle 1 was ejected as the vehicle rolled and came to rest a further 37 feet past the final rest position of Vehicle 1.

The driver of Vehicle 1 suffered serious injuries and was trauma alerted to a local hospital. The passenger of Vehicle 1 suffered minor injuries and was also transported to a local hospital.
