Clewiston Sugar Festival

The Sugar Festival is a FREE multi-day festival at Civic Park in Clewiston. The fun begins with sports tournaments and a Miss Sugar Pageant leading up to the main festival day. Come out to the Friday Night Kickoff concert with food trucks, then on Saturday enjoy live performances by Cole Swindell, Niko Moon, Sawyer Brown, & Justin Mason. We are a community-driven festival where folks can enjoy performances by top country artists, local performers, an antique tractor display, a car show, kids play park, a professional baking display, & enjoy the offerings of various food and crafts vendors.

Dog Show Extravanganza

The Greater Fort Myers Dog Club will be holding the 2nd Annual Dog Show Extravaganza with AKC Confirmation, Dock Diving, UpDog, Police K9 Demo’s, Fast Cat Coursing, American Temperament Testing, Food Vendors, Dog Supply Vendors.  Lee County Domestic Animal Services will be participating in Rescue row. The fun happens at the Lee County Civic Center all weekend long. Friday thru Sunday 8 am – 4 pm daily. This is a FREE, family-friendly event. Parking is just $5 per vehicle. Bonita Springs Blues & BBQ Festival

The Bonita Springs Blues & BBQ Festival runs Friday thru Sunday. Admission is FREE! Choose from a diverse menu of BBQ foods along with other meat and vegetarian dishes. All cooked fresh on-site! Relax under the tented full-bar or grab a slushy or fresh-squeezed lemonade and stroll the festival grounds. Come for lunch & stay for dinner! While enjoying your meal, sit back and relax to Blues Rhythms rooted in the Deep South since around the 1860s! During performance breaks, shop the marketplace showcasing artwork, custom jewelry, handmade crafts, and much more! FESTIVAL HOURS: Friday 4 pm-10 pm, Saturday 11 am-10 pm & Sunday 11 am-6 pm at the corner of Old 41 Road and Bonita Beach Rd.

33rd Annual Kids Fishing Derby

The Kiwanis Club of Cape Coral‘s Annual Free Fishing Derby for boys and girls ages 5-15 at the Cape Coral Yacht Club pier. All participants will receive their own rod, reel and bait. Trophies will be awarded to the boy and girl with the biggest fish, smallest fish, most fish, and the one with the most unusual catch. A variety of door prizes will be given away at the end of the event. You must be present to win. The Kiwanis Club urges parents to attend and younger participants must be accompanied by an adult. No advance registration is necessary, but the derby is limited to the first 300 kids. Just come to the pier and check-in by 8:30 am. Event runs until 11:30 am.

It’s time for the Margarita & Taco Festival this Saturday from 12 noon – 5 pm. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a fun afternoon with the family in beautiful Ave Maria. Enjoy live music, tacos & margaritas, children’s activities, Lucha Libre wrestling & more. Everyone in the family is sure to have a good time.
