5th Avenue South will be hosting the 48th annual Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting Ceremony! This signature holiday event will feature live music, live art performances, festive food offerings, and activities for all ages! There will be a Living Nativity by the First Church of the Nazarene, Skating Rink, table dining on 5th, live music and a special appearance by Santa Claus!! This FREE family event is TWO DAYS, Friday from 5 – 10 pm and Saturday from 10 am – 10 pm.

The Holidays are almost here! Join Fort Myers Parks, Recreation & Special Events on Friday night at The Skatium for the Miracle on Broadway holiday event. We’ll have activities for all ages, showing of the movie Elf, train rides, free ice skating and, of course, the jolliest elf of all- Santa. Mullet Fest 2021
Come out to Charlotte County Fairgrounds on Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm and eat some of the best smoked mullet! Mullet Fest 2021 will have a mullet smoke-off competition, cast net throwing competition, live music, local arts & crafts and much more. Our mission is to bring the community together to support the local fishery and artists. Our event will also raise funds for a local conservation organization. $5 Entry at the gate.

Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade
Come enjoy some Christmas spirit at the 33rd Annual Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade! Two years ago we were voted the 5th Best Holiday Parade in a USA Today 10BEST poll. The parade, sponsored by the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce, begins on Saturday night at 6 pm at Salty Sam’s Marina and will pass many restaurants on the back bay such as Parrot Key Caribbean Grill, Original Shrimp Dock, Matanzas on the Bay, Nervous Nellie’s, Bonita Bill’s, Dixie Fish Co. and Doc Ford’s, at any of which you can kick back and enjoy the fun.

Holiday Festival of Lights
Cape Coral’s annual Holiday Festival of Lights will be on Saturday night from 4 – 10 pm. The fun happens along Cape Coral Parkway from SE 15th Avenue to Candia Street. The opening ceremony begins at 5:45 pm and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving at Big John’s Plaza at 6:15 p.m. to officially kick off Cape Coral’s holiday season with the lighting of the Christmas Tree. Pictures with Santa will follow immediately after the lighting until 9:45 p.m. Next to Santa, the 15-Ton Snow Slide is one of the biggest attractions. Kids have a blast throughout the evening sliding down the slope, located adjacent to the Winn-Dixie parking lot on Cape Coral Parkway. There are three performance stages with local entertainers and dance troupes performing throughout the night. The Candy Cane Park FREE Kids Area has inflatables located on the east end of the event adjacent to Wendy’s. FREE Tiny Tot’s Train Ride on Vincennes Boulevard. And there is more……
