The Cape Coral Police Department needs your help in identifying the male in
On January 12, 2019, around 9:10 am, Cape Coral Police responded to a call for service at 2215 NW 23rd Terr in reference to a vehicle burglary, as well as a separate motor vehicle theft from the same victim.
The victim advised that one of his vehicles had been entered where the spare keys for his other vehicle were taken from the center console. The victim’s surveillance video shows the burglary of his Ford F150 pickup truck at about 12:52 am, followed by what appears to be a male in a white hoodie (with hood up) get into the front passenger seat of the Ford Explorer at 1:46 am. The vehicle then started up and backed out of their driveway.
On January 13, 2019, around 2:19 am, Cape Coral Police Police responded to a call for service at 301 SW Pine Island Road (Sam`s Club) in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The white Ford Explorer turned out to be the one stolen the day prior. It was parked and abandoned in the rear of the building near the trash compactor. The vehicle had fresh damage to the body and wheels. The victim was contacted and responded to retrieve his vehicle.
