On October 28, 2018, at around 3:43 AM, Cape Coral Police responded to a call for service. This was in reference to a physical disturbance involving multiple shots fired at the Waffle House (parking lot) located at 4642 Del Prado Blvd South.
The victim was located at 4400 Del Prado Blvd S with a gunshot wound (non-life threatening injuries) to the left leg/hip. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Two unknown B/M suspects left the Waffle House parking lot in a silver 4-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet, with an unknown tag went northbound on Del Prado Blvd S prior to police arrival.
Cape Coral Police Major Crimes Unit and Forensics responded to the scene.
No video surveillance is available at this time.
The roadways around Waffle House were temporarily shut down and a Ping4Alerts! was issued while evidence was gathered.
