Vomiting Man Had a Warrant and Drugs

On August 20, 2018, around 11:00 AM Cape Coral Police responded to a call for service reference a male vomiting in his car in the parking lot of Circle K located at 2808 Del Prado Blvd S.

The responding officer located Patrick Joseph Abernethy (W/M, DOB: 02/19/1990, 166 SW 53rd ST) inside the convenience store. Abernethy was shaking, sweating profusely, and appeared nervous. A warrants check revealed that Abernethy had an outstanding Violation of Probation Warrant.

A search of Abernethy incident to arrest revealed a small baggy of heroin, a baggy of cocaine, a metal container with methamphetamine inside, and a used capped syringe.

Abernethy was charged with a VOP Warrant, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Heroin, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transferred to the Lee County Jail.
