Call of a Disturbance Leads Officers to Drug Arrests

A call of a disturbance leads officers to felony drugs and a warrant.

On July 3rd, 2018, at approximately 9:11 pm, officers responded to a call of a disturbance involving a vehicle in the parking lot at 1890 NE Pine Island Rd (Super Target).

Officers made contact with Daniel Robert Brummett, W/M, DOB: 01/02/1986, who was seated in the driver’s seat, and Nathan Fernando Aispuro, W/M, DOB:  07/02/1979 who was seated in the back seat. Nathan got out of the vehicle and while doing so two (2) syringes fell off his lap.

Daniel also got out of the vehicle and when he did officers could see a small plastic baggie on the driver’s side floorboard containing an illegal substance.

A search of the vehicle revealed twenty-one (21) baggies of heroin, seven (7) morphine pills, a baggie of methamphetamine, and numerous syringes.

Both were taken to Lee County Jail.

CHARGES: Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Out of County Warrant, False Name to Law Enforcement

CHARGES: Possession of Heroin with Intent to Sell, 2-Counts of Possession a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
