Lengthy Drug Investigation Leads to Three Arrests

Three men were arrested after a lengthy investigation concerning drug trafficking and sales culminated in a search warrant.

The Cape Coral Police Department’s Vice, Investigations & Narcotics (VIN) Unit conducted a lengthy investigation into an ongoing narcotics distribution operation being orchestrated by Jeremiah Evans (DOB: 11-3-89) at 534 Diplomat Parkway East. During the investigation, probable cause was developed for the arrest of Evans, Chaunce Neal (DOB: 2-1-90) and Felix Perkins (DOB: 11-9-87) for the sale, distribution, and possession of cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl.

On June 15, 2018, at approximately 1:40 p.m. Cape Coral Police detectives served a narcotics search warrant at 534 Diplomat Parkway East with the assistance of the CCPD SWAT team. Evans was located at the residence and detained. During the ensuing search of the residence, several firearms were located, with further investigation to be conducted to determine possession of the firearms. Around the same time as the execution of the search warrant, Chaunce Neal was taken into custody at 410 Andalusia Boulevard (Golden Corral). He was found to be in possession of approximately 30 grams of cocaine and 2.5 grams of fentanyl. Evans and Neal were arrested on several felony charges and transported to the Lee County Jail. Felix Perkins was already in custody at the Lee County Jail, and additional charges were brought against him.
