UPDATE: Detectives Release Composite of Bank Robber

UPDATED:  This afternoon, detectives with the Cape Coral Police Department Major Crimes Unit released a composite sketch of the bank robbery suspect from this afternoon’s robbery at 5/3 Bank on S. Del Prado Boulevard.  The original release is below the photo.

The Cape Coral Police Department is actively working a bank robbery that occurred at the Fifth Third Bank located at 2724 Del Prado Boulevard South.

The call came in just after 1:00 pm and officers quickly arrived and set up a perimeter. Aviation, Forensics, Major Crimes Unit detectives and the Public Affairs Office have responded to the scene. A Ping4Alert has also been sent notifying the public. 

The suspect (at this time) is being described as a W/M, 5’6″-5’7″, approximately 200lbs, with a blue hat featuring a cobra snake, orange button-up shirt with a white “Hard Rock Cafe” T-shirt underneath. A firearm was displayed, but no one has been harmed. The nearby St. Andrews School was placed on lockdown as a precaution only.
