Cape Coral Police Arrest Man for Methamphetamine Manufacture

Officers responding to a suspicious person complaint recognized the signs of methamphetamine production when they arrived, resulting in an investigation and arrest.

On February 5th, officers responded to 1228 NE 7th Avenue in reference to a suspicious person call. Upon arrival they made contact with James Cain (DOB: 10-20-82), and during the investigation it was discovered that Cain was manufacturing methamphetamine. The CCPD Vice, Investigations & Narcotics (VIN) Unit responded to the scene, obtained a search warrant, and seized the methamphetamine and cooking materials as evidence. 

Cain was placed under arrest for producing methamphetamine, trafficking in meth more than 14 grams, and possession of a structure for the purpose of manufacturing drugs. He was transported to the Lee County Jail.
