Two Juveniles Arrested for November Robbery in Cape Coral

Two arrests were made this week for a November 22nd robbery that occurred on Cape Coral Parkway.

On November 22nd, 2017 Cape Coral Police received a report of a robbery by sudden snatching that occurred at the Dollar Tree located at 905 Cape Coral Parkway East. The victim had left the store and found a group of 4 males and 3 females near his vehicle in the parking lot. 2 members of the group snatched the victim’s cell phone and sunglasses and fled on foot. Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit developed Cylis Martin (DOB: 9-23-02) and Issac Wiley (DOB: 1-8-01) as suspects in the robbery. Martin was located and arrested for the crime on December 22nd and was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

On December 26th, Cape Coral Police officers responded to the Perkins Restaurant at 1502 Cape Coral Parkway East after Wiley and Jacob Perry (DOB: 3-18-97) walked out on their food tab. Wiley was arrested both for the retail theft (walking out on tab) and for the robbery charge stemming from the November 22nd incident, while Perry was arrested for the retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Wiley was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center, and Perry to the Lee County Jail.
