The Horizon Council and the Lee County Economic Development Office announced the recipients of the annual Industry Appreciation Awards at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort in Bonita Springs.
The Business Citizenship Award was presented to Cape Coral’s Aubuchon Homes (Small category; 1-50 employees) and Sanibel Captiva Community Bank (Large category; 51 or more employees) for their financial, volunteer and active involvement in community organizations and programs that create a better quality of business and civic life in Lee County.
The Diversity in Business Award was awarded to CONRIC PR & Marketing for its implementation of programs in the workplace that create and promote diversity by employing initiatives within the organization and the community.
The Nonprofit of the Year Award was presented to PACE Center for Girls (Small category; donations collected under $1 million) and Lee Health Foundation (Large category; donations collected over $1 million) for recognizing a business or civic need within our community.
The Startup of the Year Award, presented to iPartnerMedia, recognizes a business founded in Lee County in the last three to five years that has demonstrated continued growth both financially and in staffing while leading and overcoming challenges.
The Business of the Year Award was awarded to Norman Love Confections for being in business more than six years in Lee County, under the same corporate name and ownership and successfully offering high-quality products and services and superior customer service.
