Cape Coral Parks Update

The City’s Coral Oaks Golf Course was able to reopen fairly quickly after the storm.

City crews continue to work diligently to clean up debris and make repairs where necessary in the City of Cape Coral’s Park system.  Most recently, the trails at Rotary Park have reopened and Camelot Park is now open.  The Yacht Club Beach just opened as well.  Four Mile Cove remains closed but is much closer to reopening.

Sunset Celebration, which is usually the first Wednesday, is cancelled for October.  The Paradise Flea Market, set for Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be held inside the Yacht Club’s main ballroom for October, moving back to the pavilion in November.

The Cape Coral Art Studio is the only recreational center still impacted due to damage suffered from the hurricane. No monthly exhibits are planned until January, 2018.

The Parks Department is posting regular updates.  For more information on park closures, please call the Parks & Recreation reception desk at (239) 573-3128 or check the link below to be sure the park you want to visit is open before heading out the door.
