Cape Coral Police Make Arrest for Sept. 14th Robbery

The Cape Coral Police Department made an arrest on Friday of a man wanted for a September 14th strong-arm robbery.

CCPD Detective Fordham, who is attached to the department’s United States Marshal’s Task Force, located Hector Torres Jr. at his residence and placed him under arrest for a robbery that occurred at 8 NE Pine Island Road (McDonald’s) on September 14th.

Torres is accused of beating a man known to him in the parking lot and taking his wallet and cell phone. Torres was charged with robbery without a weapon as well as battery and transported to the Lee County Jail.
