Lobster Drop – Keys supply round-up effort

One week only, Sept 18-22, Operation Lobster Drop:
We have our share of troubles here in SW Florida but people in the keys are at serious risk. Roads are closed but local pilots have offered to make a run to Marathon as soon as they get landing clearance from the military.

There’s no way to work or get money for personal needs. What the people need is to know they’re not alone, what they could use the most is is personal hygiene products.

Hurricane Charley left a lot of trashed donations, people didn’t know what to give. Just gift cards and personal hygiene products so nothing gets wasted, the US military is covering food and water. New T-Shirts and shorts would be a plus.

We’re setting up drop-boxes in town to donate personal care products like bathroom items, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene, etc. Publix and Winn Dixie are open in the Keys, gift cards to those 2 places would be most valuable items.

Load drop-box locations up with supplies and we’ll get them flown down.
