14TH ANNUAL CELEBRITY CHEF NIGHT RAISES MORE THAN $160K

The 14th Annual Rumrunners Celebrity Chef Night held on August 16 was a success, raising more than $160,000 for Barbara’s Friends – Golisano Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund.

The culinary event at Rumrunners in Cape Coral featured live and silent auctions, a champagne toast with prize of a custom designed necklace by award winning Mark Loren Designs, as well as cocktails and fine culinary creations from Chef Todd Johnson and Chef Ralph Centalonza of Rumrunners, Chef Brian Roland of Crave Culinaire, Chef Harold Balink of Harold’s, Chef Andy Hunter of The Bay House, and Chefs Norman & Ryan Love of Norman Love Confections. Rumrunners’ renowned Gourmet Dinner by the Chef Todd and his team sold to three guests, bringing in a total of $16,750 for the live auction. Additionally,  a ‘Cash Call for Kids’ raised $43,000 to purchase specialized infusion pumps to treat kids with cancer at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Since 2003, the Celebrity Chef Night event has raised more than $1 million for Barbara’s Friends – Golisano Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund. Lee Memorial Health System Foundation.
