Top softball athletes from throughout the state are coming to Lee County for the Florida U.S. Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) Fastpitch South Florida State Championships taking place Friday through Sunday.
Approximately 140 teams will be participating in this year’s championship tournament.
The event should bring 5,000 sports visitors to the area. Those visitors will generate approximately 3,500 hotel room nights and $1.3 million in direct visitor spending.

Games will be at Cape Coral Sports Complex, CenturyLink Sports Complex, North Collier Regional Park, Cape Coral Northwest Softball Complex and Sam Fleishman Sports Complex.
