Cape Coral Community Foundation presents Faith & Generosity Conference

Connect with faith-based donors to translate spiritual capital into sustainability

Cape Coral Community Foundation (CCCF) is pleased to present its Faith & Generosity Conference 8:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 11 at Cape Christian Fellowship Church, 2110 Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral. Attendees will learn how to start their own church or ministry foundation, grow their organization’s financial and ministry support, understand and respond to faith-based donor motivations, view fundraising as a ministry and understand the role of ministry leadership in fundraising.

Thirty-three percent of charitable donations given in the United States goes to ministry organizations, representing the greatest donor segment in America. The Faith & Generosity Conference will present strategies for harnessing this enthusiastic source to effect the most impactful community change. Church and ministry leaders, along with donors interested in funding faith-based programs, will gather to learn best practices for translating spiritual capital into practical, responsible initiatives to create change from the ground up while achieving fiscal sustainability.

Featured speakers at the Faith & Generosity Conference will include Cape Christian Fellowship Church Founder and CCCF board member Dennis Gingerich and CCCF President and CEO Michael Chatman. Executive directors, pastors, planned giving directors, board members, elders, nonprofit staff and volunteers should attend.

Chatman said, “Faith and generosity are a potent combination, like adding a spark to dry timber. Cultivating sustainable giving initiatives requires great forethought, prioritizing and built-in adaptability to change. The Cape Coral Community Foundation is thrilled to join with our area’s communities of faith in a quest to shape a more vibrant future.”

For more information and to register with a $25 donation, call or email (239) 542-5594 or cccf@capecoralcf.org. A generous donor has underwritten a majority portion of the seminar’s cost. Center for Generosity at Cape Coral Community Foundation and WAY-FM are sponsors of the Faith & Generosity Conference. Drinks and refreshments will be served.
