This Fall Festival is a FREE, family event for all ages on Friday from 6 – 9 pm at the North Fort Myers Park and Recreation Center. There will be a DJ, photo booth, candy, rolling video games, games, and a costume contest. Costume Contestants must be registered by 7 p.m.

Come to Bay Oaks Recreational Campus for the best Family Halloween event of the year on Friday night from 6 – 9 pm! There will be Huge Slides, a Corn Maze, Bungee Trampoline, Games, Costume Contest, Food Trucks and more at Fright Night!! Kids and adults of all ages are welcome! Just $4 per person or $10 for a family of 4.

Boo & Brew

Edison Mall will put the ‘boo’ in ‘booze’ during the upcoming fall celebration, Boo ‘n Brew. On Saturday from 3 pm to 8 pm, come out for the family-friendly, Halloween-themed event featuring plenty of tricks and treats. A Halloween-themed harvest festival for the whole community, including beer sampling, truck and car shows, beer garden, kid zone, chalk art, yard games, petting zoo, entertainment, live music, food trucks, costume contests, face painting, candy and so much more! There will be a costume contest with four categories based on age. Our creepy crawlies (age 0 to 5), ghosts (ages 6 to 12), ghoulies (ages 13 to 18) and goblins (adults). Special guests will be our judges for our Halloween Costume Contests. Trophies and special gifts will be awarded to our winners in each category. FREE to attend!

Scarecrows in the Park – Enjoy a walk through the Children’s Garden to see this year’s scarecrows with the theme of “Book Characters.” Visitors can vote on their favorite for the duration of the event. On Saturday, from 11 am to 1 pm, this FREE event is open to everyone!  And our splash pad will be open for dogs to play free! Free ice cream treats for our two-legged friends are provided by Royal Scoop.  Free doggie treat bags for our 4-legged friends, Collier County Domestic Animal Services will be here with some adorable, adoptable canines.  Our Splash Pad Pup will also be available for fun & photo ops.

Roar Offshore Powerboat Races

Start your engines. Roar Offshore Powerboat Races is back for 2021. Roar Offshore is the final stop of the APBA (American Power Boat Association) National Championship series. Roar Offshore will once again be held on Fort Myers Beach, and will be in the Championship Race for 2021, crowning Offshore Champions in 14 classes. In 2019 the inaugural Roar Offshore had 68 race teams compete from around the world, the largest boat count seen in almost two decades. The fun runs all weekend long, Friday and Saturday. Tickets are available at the gate, ages 2 and under are free. 300 animals that you can hold, touch and feed (food to feed the animals is included.) 25th Annual Yacht Club Kid’s Fishing Derby

Kids ages 5 – 16 are invited to join in the Yacht Club‘s 25th Annual Fishing Derby on Saturday. Due to the popularity of the event, we will have 2 time slots this year, 8 am & 10 am. Check-in will begin 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Once checked in, we will have complimentary breakfast for participants and a quick angler education before we start the tournament. The cost is just $8 per child and includes breakfast and a free rod and reel for each participant. Advanced registration is required and time slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Island Hopper Songwriter Fest

This weekend, the seventh annual Island Hopper Songwriter Fest kicks off in the tropical setting of Captiva Island. Nearly 80 singer-songwriters from around the country will perform more than 100 shows. Join us for free shows, open-air island venues, and intimate performances.
