Downtown Venice Art Festival
More than 100 of the nation’s most notable artists will exhibit their work at the Downtown Venice Art Festival, ranging in mediums from photography to jewelry, paintings to sculpture, ceramics, glass, mixed media and more during this weekend community festival. Both Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am – 5 pm each day, festival patrons and art collectors alike can meet and visit with their favorite artists, view and purchase original works, or commission custom pieces.

Fire Safety Open House
The Cape Coral Fire Department will host their annual Open House on Saturday morning. From 9 am until 12 pm, the public is invited to visit any of the eleven fire stations for the opportunity to meet firefighters and learn about the fire apparatus, equipment, and services. In addition, a variety fun and educational activities and displays, many from partner public safety agencies, will be available at each station. Some of these include: • Friends and Family CPR Instruction • Blood Donations • Coastie and the Coast Guard Auxiliary • Public Works Vehicles • Lee County Mosquito Control District Helicopter and Educational Bug Display • Interactive, Inflatable Fire Safety Smoke House • Vehicle Extrication Demonstrations • Junior Firefighter Obstacle Course • Car Seat Checks with Safe Kids • Lee County EMS Ambulance and Helicopter • Pet Safety and Adoptable Dogs from the Cape Coral Animal Shelter • Scavenger hunt, face painting, and more. Diggity Dog Festival
Collier County Parks and Recreation is holding the 1st Annual Diggity Dog Festival on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Golden Gate Community Park in Naples. Come join us for some furry fun! Enjoy music, demonstrations, local vendors, food trucks, K-9 Raffle and more. Admission is FREE. NextHome’s annual Free Fall Festival is at the Florida Farm Bureau is BACK! Join us on Saturday from 11 am – 4 pm for a completely FREE, KID-FRIENDLY event! Santa will be riding on his decked-out TRACKER boat with his elves, following his friends from the Lee County Fire Department in their fire truck and Lee County Sheriff Office’s Deputy Chance and the Deputy Dogs!
