Hurricane preparedness seminar to take place on Tuesday, June 20 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm
Cape Coral Emergency Management is hosting a Hurricane Preparedness Seminar in Cape Coral City Council Chambers on Tuesday, June 20 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm.
This seminar will bring City and community leaders together to inform the public on their roles in disaster preparedness and response, while also providing the public with tools to better prepare themselves. WINK Meteorologist Matt Devitt will also present on what to expect in the 2023 hurricane season.
“We hope the community takes advantage of this opportunity to gain more information and resources so they can be as prepared as possible for the upcoming hurricane season,” said Fire Chief Ryan Lamb who is speaking at the seminar.
Other presenting agencies include Cape Coral city, police, and emergency management, LCEC, Cape Coral Construction Industry Association (CCCIA), U.S. Coast Guard, Cape Coral Animal Shelter, and LeeHealth.
