On June 30^th, 2022, Cape Coral Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit contacted Lukis Ayala (W/M 03-04-2011, 1329 Everest Parkway) at his residence upon being released from the Juvenile Assessment Center (JAC) on June 29^th, 2022, for the burglary of Guns4Less which occurred on June 8^th, 2022.

The investigation revealed that Lukis Ayala confessed to over 16 vehicle burglaries between the area of Country Club Blvd and Everest Parkway that took place prior to the June 8^th, 2022, incident.

Lukis Ayala was subsequently transported back to Juvenile Assessment Center (JAC).

Lukis Ayala was charged with the following combined charges:

* Burglary of a Conveyance F.S.S. 810.01(4)(b), 16 Counts.

*Grand Theft $750-$5,000 F.S.S. 812.014(2)(c)(1), 1 Count.

* Petit Theft F.S.S. $812.014(3)(a), 3 Counts.
