Update on Stabbing in SW Cape

On March 29th at approximately 4:15 pm, Cape Coral Police Department Officers were called to 804 SW 47th Terrace after being told that a man had been stabbed.

Officers located a male victim with a stab wound to his chest. He immediately told the officers that his neighbor, “Sabrina,” had stabbed him with a knife. The male victim was then transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. The neighbor, “Sabrina,” was later identified as Sabrina Robert O’Neill, DOB 09/25/1992, 808 SW 47th Terrace, Apartment #202.

Officers then attempted to make contact with the suspect, Sabrina O’Neill, at her apartment. She eventually emerged with a gun in her hands and immediately pointed the gun at the officers. The officers on the scene fired their duty weapons that struck O’Neill multiple times. The officers rendered aid, and she was then transported to the hospital. She is currently in stable condition at the hospital.

The suspect, Sabrina O’Neill has been charged with Aggravated Battery – person who uses a deadly weapon F.S.S 784.045(1a2) and two counts of Assault – Aggravated Assault on an Officer F.S.S.784.07(2c). She will be transported to Lee County Jail after her release from the hospital.
