Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival

Friday, Saturday and Sunday in JD Hamel Park, enjoy the 3-day Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival. Fun, food, festivities and relaxation start Friday evening from 4 -10 pm, continuing Saturday 11 am – 10 pm and Sunday 11 am – 6 pm. This seafood & music festival is created like an outstanding meal, incorporating and blending the finest ingredients. Choose entrees (seafood, meat and vegetarian) cooked fresh onsite. Select from a diversity of side dishes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and of course – scrumptious desserts! The final ‘seasoning’ is shopping a marketplace of arts and crafts (e.g., painting, mixed-media, glass), gourmet food items and specialty products. General admission is FREE!!!

Music Walk

The River District comes alive on the third Friday of the month, from 6 – 9:30 pm, as local and regional musicians line the streets for Music Walk. From jazz and blues to rock & roll, many genres can be heard and vary each month. FREE to the public with many venues featuring additional attractions and specials. Enjoy the Musical Stylings of Rosada Project Band, Xitone 11 Band, School of Rock, Fort Myers High Band, Flashback Band, Stage Hoggs Band, Guitarist Gary YoungClaus, and Saxophonist Michael Yapello. This event is always rain or shine.

Bert’s HD Back Porch Concert

Return to the great arena rock concerts of the 70’s and 80’s with Maiden Cane playing Friday night during Bert’s HD Back Porch LIVE concert! Southwest Florida’s favorite arena rock band plays the music of bands like Boston, Journey, Styx, Bon Jovi, and REO Speedwagon with high energy and surgical precision in an arena-style rock show. This is an event you won’t want to miss. Kicking off the show at 5:30 pm is Brake Fail – a super-group featuring Capitol/EMI recording artist and Hall of Fame guitarist, Jeff Adams. Admission is FREE

Chili Cook-Off

Join Wolfhounds Legacy for the 3rd Annual Chili cook off. This is a family friendly event at Gator Mike’s Family Fun Park with Big Mama from 103.9 radio and LCSO Deputy Dogs will be on-site to deputize “Drago,” one of Wolfhounds Legacy dogs. Raffles, prizes, chili tasting with trophies for the winners, vendors, live music by Signal III (the Cape Coral Police Department Band), games and more. You do not want to miss out on all the exciting things that will be going on in the name of raising money to save two lives at a time so that no hero walks alone!
