The City is accepting applications for 30 contract counselors/summer camp positions. Camp counselors will work in the Youth Services Division of the Parks and Recreation Department.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have some experience working with children. Counselors will be responsible for the planning, organization, and initiation of all class programs and recreational activities. Interested job seekers should submit their applications no later than May 31 for consideration. Contract camp counselors typically work between 25-30 hours per week and the pay range is $10-$13 per hour.

Summer camps are expected to begin June 15 through July 31 unless changes are made due to COVID-19. The City will have precautions in place and adhere to CDC guidelines related to COVID-19.
