Open Studio& Exhibit Reception
Friday: For the first time in history, the Cape Coral Arts Studio is hosting a FREE Open Studio during its October exhibit reception from 5 – 7 p.m. The public is invited to tour the newly renovated facility, with upgrades made possible thanks to a grant. A string trio from the Southwest Florida Symphony will be serenading guests as they view the exhibitions and Eight Foot Brewing will be on-site offering complimentary tastings of their delicious craft brews. The studios will be open with instructors demonstrating a variety of exciting fine art and fine craft techniques.
BAM! Breakfast at the Museum
Saturday: Join the Southwest Florida Military Museum & Library for Breakfast at the Museum. This month we will celebrate the founding of the Navy in 1775. Saturday: It’s that time of year for Faith Presbyterian Church‘s Annual Pumpkin Festival is returning from 4-7:30 pm. Food Trucks (Kona Ice, Coasting Donuts, Curries Smokin’ Hot BBQ and more) **, music, hayrides*, games, crafts, bounce house*, face painting, blacklight puppet show and MORE! Saturday: Join the City of Cape Coral from 5 – 10 pm for another FREE night of great entertainment, food, vendors, and motorcycles in the South Cape! The City of Cape Coral has been hosting Bike Night for over a decade! Whether you’re a hardcore biker or not, you’ll have a blast! Sunday: The Shell Factory & Nature Park will host its Third Annual Nam-Jam from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The veterans-oriented event features live music and entertainment, food for purchase, specials for veterans and a tribute to our military. Admission is FREE to all attendees, and veterans who present a military ID receive free admission to the nature park, a free round of mini-golf for four, hot dog and chips, tickets for two draft beers or one well drink. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle, with half of the proceeds benefitting the Southwest Florida Military Museum.
