Register Now for 30th Annual Respect for Law Camp

Registrations are still being taken for the 2019 Respect for Law Camp, sponsored by the Fort Myers Police Department.

The law enforcement themed camp is for children ages 11-14 and will be held at Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School from June 6th to the 9th.

During the 4 day/3-night experience children will participate in S.W.A.T. Team and K-9 Unit demonstrations, emergency vehicle displays, parade drills, first aid instruction, crime scene investigation, dodge ball and more.

Campers experience the challenges and expectations that come with being a member of law enforcement in a fun and exciting camp atmosphere.

An enrollment fee of $125.00 includes food, lodging, shirts, and hats. A limited number of scholarships are available, but participation is limited to the first 132 campers.

An online registration link is available on the Fort Myers Police Department’s website at www.fmpolice.com

For more information contact Officer Athena Mitchell, Youth Relations Division, at (239) 321 – 7700 or email amitchell@fmpolice.com.
