On March 1, 2019, at 12:45 PM, Cape Coral Police responded to a call for service at 2508 Skyline Blvd (Home Depot), in reference to
A loss prevention member for Home Depot observed a Hispanic male with a cart full of items pass all points of sale. The loss prevention member stopped the male outside of the store and told him he had committed retail theft. The hispanic male advised the loss prevention member that his friend was going to pay for the items. It was explained to the suspect that he could not leave and needed to follow him back into the store.
The Hispanic male then ran towards his vehicle in the parking lot leaving the cart full of items behind. The loss prevention member observed the male enter a dark blue Chevrolet Suburban. The blue Suburban then left the parking lot. The tag was not able to be seen. The male suspect was a Hispanic male medium complexion approximately 5`5″, 140 pounds, and approximately 30 years old.
Items that the suspect stole but left behind are:
- GB designer toilet
- Midway white wall plates
- 15-20 amp switches and outlets
- Grey camo popsocket and mounts
- 30Amp square D breaker
- 20Amp square D breaker
- 40Amp square D breaker
- 12-2 electrical wire
- 10-3 electrical wire
- 10-2 electrical wire
- 100 pack wire nuts
- 15 Dec switch
- Dewalt fast charger
- Wall plates
