5 Things To Do This Weekend in Cape Coral (Dec 27-30)

Farmer’s market, open mic, pet adoptions, trivia, yappy hour and more.

Making weekend plans?  Check out these 5 things to do this weekend in Cape Coral:

Yappy Hour

Friday: The Cape Coral Animal Shelter and Fathom’s Restaurant invite you to join them between 5 and 7 pm for their monthly Yappy Hour. This is an opportunity for the community and their pets to enjoy an evening of outdoor entertainment. Fathom’s Restaurant and Bar will be providing beer and wine for the nonprofit organization to receive all proceeds to help fund the building of a shelter for pets in need. Yappy Hour is an ongoing event held the last Friday each month. Each month will focus on a different theme to be enjoyed by attendees with their pets.

Brewer’s Trivia

Friday: Ever wonder what goes on in the mind of a brewer (…not much…)? Come out to our weekly brewer’s trivia event hosted by none other than Eight Foot Brewing‘s brewer, lead janitor, and influencer of microbial reproduction. Trivia starts at 7:30 pm and lasts until 9:30 pm. We’ll have three rounds and you can see if you can outsmart the brewer! We’ll be slinging prizes and bragging rights to the winners. We’ll have locally sourced prizes for each round! And, as always, we’ll have finely crafted beer and a plethora of fine food to go with it.

Cape Coral Farmer’s Market

Saturday: The best farmer’s market in SW Fl! Awesome foods & finds. We are an EBT/SNAP authorized market offering Fresh Access Bucks double dollars! Live music every week. Market is FREE to attend and is open 8 am – 1 pm every Saturday in Club Square.

Adoption Event

Saturday: Adopt, don’t shop! Help rescue a pet, courtesy of
Paws Crossed Inc, a local nonprofit animal rescue. Visit Cape Coral’s PetSmart at 1819 NE Pine Island Rd from 12:15 – 3:45 pm.
