Citizens Help Solve Grand Theft

On November 7, 2018, around 2:45 PM, Cape Coral Police responded to a call for service at 1619 Del Prado Blvd S. (Wal-Mart) in reference to a retail theft. A 55” television was taken from the store. A Cape Coral Police Property Crimes Unit detective asked that the photos of the suspects be published to social media for assistance in identification of the offender.

After the photographs were released, numerous tips were received. Suspects were identified as “Millie Campo,” and Robert Campo. Detective Niland conducted further investigation which revealed the real name of “Mille Campo” is Damaris Gartenmayer (W/F, DOB: 01/17/1971, of 910 SE 12th Ter).

Damaris Gartenmayer was placed under arrest on November 17, 2018 around 6:35 PM after turning herself in at the Cape Coral Police Department. After processing, she was transported to the Lee County Jail.

This is yet another example of great teamwork from the citizens of Cape Coral and the Cape Coral Police Department.
