Gallery Reception: Landscapes in Lee

Saturday:  Eight-Foot Brewing is hosting Fall Fest 2018 to benefit Family Initiative, Inc., an autism support in #SWFL We’ll be donating a portion of all sales to support this non-profit 501c3.  Live Music! 50/50 raffles with great prizes, Pretzel and Beer (Marzen/Pumpkin) $10, Pumpkin Beer release, Sour Pumpkin Beer release, Marzen Beer release, Other vendors.  Event runs from 1 – 11 pm and is FREE to attend.


Art Night

Saturday:  The new Art Night under the Tiki Hut @ Dolphin Key Resort features local artists of all kinds and supports a great cause! Come to the Tiki to dance, have a cocktail, nosh, and get your Art on! Event runs from 6-10 pm and is FREE to attend.  Deb & The Dynamics take the stage at 7 pm.


Veterans Day Parade

Sunday:  Join us as the community honors our American Heroes and pays tribute to those who lost their lives, those who served honorably and those who are still proudly serving our country. The Veteran’s Day Celebration is a cooperative effort of the City of Cape Coral Parks and Recreation and other local supporters.  This year’s parade will be on Cape Coral Parkway beginning at 2:00 pm. Parade route is westbound from Del Prado to Chester Street. This year’s Grand Marshal is Retired Marine Sgt. Bob Collum.


Strike Up the Band!

Sunday:  Strike up the band! The Lee County Community Band will begin its 133rd season with a lively, fun-filled, free concert at 3 p.m. at Cape Coral High School. In keeping with tradition for the season’s first concert, Director Richard Bradstreet has selected a program featuring spirited and patriotic American music by American composers and a salute to U.S. military veterans.
