Cape Kid with Style Anna Onorevole

Submitted by proud parents Kevin and Christine Onorevole

Anna Onorevole was born on July 6, 2008 in Cape Coral. She is currently a 5th grader at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School.

Anna is active in Girl Scouts where she started in kindergarten as a Daisy and is currently a second year Junior. Over this past year, Anna sold over 1,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, earning her a trip to the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee and a visit to Dollywood!

Anna also earned a Bronze Award for making Linus (Think Charlie Brown and Snoopy) blankets for the children at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Being an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church, she earned her “My Promise My Faith” pin from the Girl Scouts as well.

As an active member of the Children’s Ministries at Faith Presbyterian, Anna is part of God’s Angels. God’s Angels is an energetic and fun singing and movement group that performs once a month during Sunday worship services.

She will also be starting her third year as a member of the Junior Chime and Hand Bell Choir, which performs throughout the year.

Anna fell in love with dance, specifically ballet, when she started taking dance lessons at a little over three (3) years old. To this day, Anna still enjoys learning and improving her ballet while attending her dance classes.

During her summer months off from school, she participates in the Cape Coral Junior Golf Program. Golf is something Anna has enjoyed over the past four (4) years and something she looks forward to doing every year!

In completing her final year at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School, Anna is an active member of the yearbook club. She is tasked with editing and bringing to publication the schools yearbook, detailing the past years’ activities.

Starting in January 2019, she will be assisting her fellow students and teachers as a member of the safety patrol. Following graduating from elementary school, Anna will move on to Oasis Middle School where she looks to continue being an active student, pursuing her ballet and becoming a member of the Youth of Faith at her church.

Above all, Anna really enjoys spending time with her family, especially her big brother Anthony, her dog Louie and her cockatiel Tweety.

We are so proud of Anna and all that she has accomplished in life so far. Anna is definitely a Cape Kid with Style!
