Betty’s Big Cabaret of Love

Friday:  Love and romance are in the air at Lake Kennedy Center this spring! Join our very own Betty Dentzau for Betty’s Guys and Dolls for an evening of cabaret fun featuring singing, dancing and entertaining skits about love and romance! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $10 per Lake Kennedy Center member and $15 per non-member with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to be provided. Cape Coral Touch-A-Truck

Saturday:  Touch-A-Truck is a family-friendly event from 9 am – 3 pm where kids of all ages can explore and ask questions about their favorite vehicles. There will be a Firetruck, Grapple truck, Car carrier, Excavator, Dump truck, and Swamp Buggy, just to name a few. All participants will receive a passport and can visit the designated locations for a chance to win a prize. We will also be having a stage with entertainment, local vendors, and sponsors. Parent supervision is required, and cameras are highly recommended. The event is being held on Lafayette Street in South Cape.  Admission is FREE and all donations support the EHL Fragile X Foundation. 

5th Annual Charter School Foundation Rally

Saturday:  Please join us for the 2018 Charter Rally at the German American Social Club. There will be performances by Jason Bonham, Iconic, The Hipnauticals and High Tide. We will also have a giant Nerf War course, bounce houses, silent auction, human soccer ball game, marketplace, mechanical bull and a huge variety of delicious food vendors. You don’t want to miss this fun-filled family event!!!

Movie in the Park Featuring Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

Saturday:  As part of our Movie in the Park series, join us at Jaycee Park for Family Night featuring the new Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle! Free Admission! Bring your family, a date, a group of friends, or even fly solo as you enjoy a movie under the stars! Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. Movie starts after the sun goes down. Sunset is approximately 7:45 pm, but get there early for a good spot, dinner from our food trucks, giveaways and activities prior to the movie! 

Taste of the Cape

Sunday:  The Chamber of Commerce Education Committee and the Gulf Coast Symphony are happy to host Taste of the Cape for the City of Cape Coral. Join us to taste local cuisine and listen to the sweet sounds of the Gulf Coast Symphony. We will have live music, craft vendors, beer, and wine all while enjoying Cape Corals beautiful sunshine and sunset.  Admission is FREE and has extended hours this year from 11 am to 7 pm. Food and drink tickets are available in advance at tasteofcapecoral.com or on-site the day of the event.
