Making weekend plans?  Check out these 5 things to do this weekend in Cape Coral:

Easter Bunny Trail

Thursday:  This is the first year the Easter Bunny Trail event at Mike Greenwell’s Bat-A-Ball & Family Fun Park will be held at night. Organizers say this new time will give them less competition with other events, and it’s much cooler. “It’s always so hot, and our Easter Bunny is always melting,” says Dana Waters, who is organizing the event. “This way it will be much cooler.” There will be sponsors at each mini golf hole handing out candy and eggs. For more information, please call (239) 574-4386.  Free for children ages 12 and younger. *Please bring donations of pet food for Helping Paws. 5pm-8pm

Yappy Hour at Cape Harbour

Friday:  The Cape Coral Animal Shelter and Fathom’s Restaurant invite you to join them on between 5 and 7 pm for their monthly Yappy Hour.  The public is invited to enjoy an evening of outdoor entertainment, all for a good cause. This month’s Yappy Hour will be an evening of Easter-themed events including best doggie Easter bonnet contest, 50/50 and raffle basket. Fathom’s Restaurant and Bar will be providing beer and wine with all proceeds to help fund the building of a shelter for pets in need.  The evening festivities will also have live music.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Saturday:  The Kiwanis Club of Cape Coral will be hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza event with games, prizes and bouncy games.
